THE LEAGUE OF EXTRA ORDINARY HEROES
RDCworld1 has officially launched their highly anticipated cinematic short film, "THE LEAGUE OF EXTRA ORDINARY HEROES." Moving away from their usual quick sketch formats, this 28-minute parody delivers a hilarious, high-quality look at what happens when neighborhood superheroes have to face the crushing reality of being broke.
The Plot Recap
The film follows a ragtag group of local heroes—including Understand Man, Try Man, Vouch Man, and Black Man (Darren)—operating out of a budget basement lair.
- The Reality Check: After a botched street intervention leaves one of their members brutally knocked out by a regular civilian, the team reviews their weekly stats: zero people saved.
- The Struggle is Real: Tired of fighting crime while working dead-end jobs, Black Man breaks character to argue about their finances, pointing out that they can't even afford their bills (despite buying designer clothes to flex on Instagram).
- Identity Exposed: Desperate for cash, the crew tries a door-to-door fundraiser that fails miserably. Things go from bad to worse when Black Man’s pregnant girlfriend catches him in costume at a bus stop, publicly roasts him for being an unemployed superhero, and kicks him out of the car.
- The Cliffhanger: Humiliated and completely broke, Darren (Black Man) goes missing, leaving his phone behind and setting up a dark, villainous turn for his character.
